I always keep an eye out for lettering on old shopfronts or dilapidated buildings. Often neglected or overlooked, they were created at a time when the signmakers knew what they were doing. Whenever I see one of those crumbling signs now, I liberate it by taking a photo and redrawing it in Illustrator. Shown here are some of them and I will add more over time.
