Over 500 watch illustrations

This was a daunting task, and to be frank, one where I wasn't sure if it could be done at first, given the time constraints. The number of details that go into each watch is enormous. Not every photo had the same quality, resolution and lighting were often less than ideal. This was one of the reasons that illustration was chosen as the medium to represent the reference catalogue. It also allowed to show all watches in a uniform way and did away with the need to have the watches physically all in one location.

A chronograph illustration typically takes me two days, so new ways had to be found to meet the deadline. In the end everything worked out and Iā€™m very happy to have had the opportunity to work on this ā€“ I always like to explore new territories. Big thanks to Pierre Trehorel and Nicholas Biebuyck at TAG Heuer as well as Jeff Stein of OnTheDash.

Clock faces.

The following are faces of small clocks that I discovered. I liked them because they are slightly quirky and as always I was interested in the typographic treatment of the numerals. I will add to this section when I come across some new interesting faces.
